Fatima lands with her new single and video

Fatima - The queen of Contemporary Soul/R&B, continues to reign supreme in sound and visuals with her new single - Somebody Else.

The Swedish singer asks 'how different life would be if she was someone else?' as she switches identities in a creatively styled video, shot on location at the Alexandra Road Estate in Camden, England.

Following on from their memorably Nordic dark R&B debut - Nectar, the Finnish/Dutch duo return with a new single, with a new sound - Mitwa.

Despite the somewhat 'creepy' looking image, the 'golden boy' represents a more playful side to their R&B flavour.

The lighter sound retains a deep, hypnotic bass, so infectiously good its hard to sit still.

Benji Sedoc flows with smooth soul single

Danish singer Benji Sedoc follows up his well-received single - Friends with a new track - Bet it All.

The single is a classic soul-jazz ballad about learning from the past, growing and recognizing what is most important in life.

Benji says 'I wanted to portray a modern take on that old school Ray Charles/Donny Hathaway sound with acoustic strings, brass, and live instruments.'

Camilla Luna - Lost & Found

As I listen to the debut album from Norwegian singer Camilla Luna - Lost & Found, I'm clicking around like a demented gamer trying to find any additional information about the songs. In particular the name of the producer.

After some detective work, Sherlock here discovers its BHLB.

The beat-maker deserves special credit as he/she underscores the albums' 13 tracks with creeping synth movements and hypnotic beats.

Marie Dahlstrom - anymore.

We once described cryptofunk, indie-soul guru Dim Out as an artist 'who’s not released a ‘bad’ track yet.'

Also easily matching that description is Danish soul singer Marie Dahlstrom.

She really can't do anything wrong, and her new single - anymore. proves that.

Young singer Isatou impresses with debut single

17-year-old Isatou's debut single ‘The Whole Damn World Is Going Crazy’ couldn't be better timed.

Our need for music that reflects our current times is more important than ever in a world where instant gratification has numbed the tone of popular music we used to adore.

The Whole Damn World Is Going Crazy - is a cover version of 'John Gary Williams' classic soul gem from over four decades ago. This first encounter of Isatou's voice impresses as she breathes new life into this track with a modern, soulful/pop arrangement.
