The Band Called Oh - Guerrilla Gardening

An album built around the concept of Guerrilla Gardening, a movement that sought to improve the urban decay of 60’s New York is certainly a brave and fascinating idea. We took a listen to the Norwegian band's new album.

I'm a South Londoner now living in Sweden. I'm also a part-time DJ/ founder of Urbanlife Radio and co-founder of Scandinavian Soul. Music has always been my soundtrack to life and although I listen to everything, soul is always in my playlist.

I Went to The Jungle - is the debut track by Swedish singer Hannes and it's a stunningly eloquent premiere that you'll feel from the first play!

Hannes announces himself with an alluring soulful sound produced with an exquisite balance of groove and melodies.

The track has already received plaudits. UK DJ Rich Chocolate (floradio.co.uk) said, 'A new name to my ears but delivering something familiar, soothing and delicately smooth.' While Noa Söderberg wrote, "The consistency of intimacy and brilliance reminds me of Frank Ocean with a chamber orchestra."

Swedish soul singer Daggi Zegreat releases her new single/video - Dansa som du vill (Dance any way you like), and the smooth, neo-soul groove certainly invites you to move.

Sung in Swedish this warm, soulful track is entrancingly produced by Jon MILJON Skoog at Gateway music, allowing Daggi's vocals to flow like a gentle stream.

Finnish and Swedish voices combine as Elna Romberg is joined by Samuel Ljungblahd on her single/video "Never Leave My Side". Composed from the roots of Gospel music, the duo's joy is warmly infectious as they harmonise on an uplifting song of love and support.

Singer Klara Kazmi returned to the studio with a reflection of recent events on her new Swedish sung single - Stockholm 2.0.

Dim Out achieves Light Travel

Released today is Swedish/Canadian singer Dim Out's new track - Light Travel on Songololo Music

Regular visitors to our site already know what to expect from the 'Cryptofunk indie-soul' singer since 2013 after a string of solids tracks like; Förout, There Has to be a Way, Standards and Taekwondo... to name but a few! Each release may feel different, yet all are consistently mesmerising and enjoyable with and without visuals.

Danish trio, Sweatshop, takes you through the looking glass with their new video - New Religion.

The surreal video, produced by IMMERSE, features a couple of children exploring a surreal world chased by a rather creepy looking antagonist.

A day ahead of the official release, we can exclusively present Swedish funkster, Andy Pfeiler’s new single/video - Space XPress.

The 'always cool' singer proves soul, funk & hip-hop runs in the family as he's joined by his daughter Astrid Pfeiler on backing vocals, and together leave this planet towards new destinations aboard Space Xpress.

Loidimo - Thousand Million Times

Swedish soul singer Loidimo's new single 'Thousand Million Times', is out now on Golden Cuts.

'Thousand Million Times*' has a touch of 90's R&B vibes fused with modern pop. Exquisitely produced by Loidimo, Kasper Lindgren, and Martin Påhlsson the single has echoes of Timberlake and Usher.

"The song is about being cheated on by your girl and realising that you are better off without her." says Loidimo,

*contains strong language

24-year-old Swedish singer, Lova releases her new single - Ta På Mig (Take On Me). The Swedish sung track also features guest rapper Conakry.

Written by Lova (Lova Drevstam), the core of this R&B song contains a serious message.

Norwegian DJ Reggie Got Beats teams up with Rohey Taalah for the second time to produce another hot summer Disco groove - Round & Round.

The first collaboration produced a dancefloor filler - On The floor, and this release continues their ethos of addictive house grooves, perfect for the sunshine.
