Swedish singer Daggi opens a new concept, new look and new sounds at CREAM.
The relaunched event aims to show a wide range of live music from soulful pop and indie R&B singers to tight 60’s soul and jazz funk bands.
The evolution of R&B (or indie R&B, or even PBR&B) continues to grow, as cultural roots and musical styles cross-pollinate to create the Finnish/Dutch duo F.U.N.C.
F.U.N.C. consists of singer Chai Blaq and producer Misha. The bands name is an acronym of their personal backgrounds; Finland, Ukraine, Netherlands and Congo. It’s also a wonderful symbol and reminder of the diverse and wonderful multicultural world we live in.
The funky, Danish soul band, D/troit, strut their stuff as a studio audience hold their mobile phones aloft and record their latest single - Soul Thing. The retro, 60’s styled band, who recently performed in the US and UK, have now returned home to Copenhagen and wasted no time in reconnecting with their growing fan base.
It’s a clever idea and the result, if slightly choppy, works a treat as we get an intimate close-up of this exciting band.
