‪Marianne da Cruz‬ (SWE)‪ - W‬on't you be Mine

Written by

Love is defiantly in the air this Valentines day with the romantic debut video/track release of ‪WON'T YOU BE MINE‬ by ‪Marianne da Cruz‬.

Marianne da Cruz‬ is a young Swedish singer from Malmö who has been a regular vocalist with the group S.T.I.C.S.  Since 2004 S.T.I.C.S (Sound That Inspires Conscious Souls) has produced an array of quality music from acoustic soul, hip-hop and spoken word.

Now flying solo, ‪Marianne da Cruz‬ is clearly drawing attention as she's already been interviewed on Malmo's P4 radio breakfast show. The video, produced by Roberto Duarte, is well made and runs a surprising 4+ min in length.

It's been a while since we heard this type of soulful/jazzy sound and 'Won't you be mine' delightfully demonstrates the wide range of Scandinavian Soul music within the nordic regions. We forecast an exciting future ahead for the young singer.

‪Marianne‬s debut EP, Soul | Music | Passion, will be released in late March 2014.
