New Video: NEOHOLICS - Paint this town

Written by

The Neoholics throw a party with their retro-funk sound in their new video and track release Paint This Town.

This feel-good track is the third quality single the Swedish band Neoholics have released, each with a funky soul style that has understandably drawn high praise in the blogosphere.

With Andy Pfeiler also releasing a super funky track this week it looks like our Saturday night party playlist is all set!

Michael Fridh: Bass, Lead Vocal
Johan Björk: Keys, Guitar
Edvin Hjertquist: Drums

  • Neoholics return with an apt cover version
We haven’t heard from the Neoholics since 2015 and so its a welcome return for this Swedish band. The Neoholics drew immediate attention with their debut single, a Neo-soul/R&B cover version of Pharrell Williams - Happy and several funky follow up tracks.

Now the band return to their crate-digging selections to produce their own version of the single - Apparently Nothing (1991) by UK band Young Disciples.
  • NEOHOLICS (SWE) - True to yourself

Swedish neo-soul band The Neoholics return with their second release True to Yourself. The Neoholics came to our attention last month with their superb cover version of Pharrell Williams, Happy which was extremely well received by us and internationally.

This time we hear an original track featuring Jocke Svensson on guitar, and it has all the same sweet soulful flavours this band is quickly becoming known for.
