The Evolution of Marie Dahlstrom Continues

Written by

Incredibly, some people don’t believe in evolution. I do, and I’m listening to the evidence. Triple award-winner Marie Dahlstroms’ new single is another sign of her consistent musical development.

Having already established herself as a successful vocalist with tracks such as “Something Like Nice” and “I Want A Man”, Marie has drawn huge admiration within the soul-loving world. A smooth, laid back vibe and quality production are guaranteed ingredients in Marie’s mix.

Her recent collaboration with Canadian producer Mawhs on the project Hans Island delivered atmospheric soul in an accomplished arrangement. It was very well received, though not a huge departure from her previously established tone.

Her latest single “Look the Other Way” featuring Sophie Faith and produced by D.K. the Punisher, is a new development, however, and it sets Marie on a path to even greater heights.

Not resting there, the Danish singer has swiftly released another scintillating collaboration. This time, Marie features on Les Loups new track “Stay”, and it’s full of colourful electronic sounds, soulful vocals, and a groove that’s simply a winner!

This Scandinavian Soul Music Award winner is growing into something even more beautiful than before. Darwin was right.
