Adée releases her new single - Make My Day

Written by

Soul/R&B and hip-hop combine (soul-hop) with Swedish singer Adée's new single, Make My Day, out now.

The hard working singer was nominated for Artist of the Year 2016 after a stream of solid tracks such as World on Fire, Don’t Leave and Woman, and numerous national and international performances.

Adée always excites and she continues to balance the hard hitting edge of hip hop with her delicate soulful vocals on her new single - Make My Day.

Listen out for Adée who will also feature on Beat Funktions new album ‘Green Man’ out later this year.

On our quest to find the latest soul music from across Scandinavia we usually fill the tank with premium grade and travel at 130km/per hr. Naturally, therefore, from time to time we miss writing, reviewing or listening to all the new soulful releases. In a desire to address this I'm pressing the brakes, backing up and taking the time to check them out, slowly.

So, with our Scandi Soul Mustang parked outside our favourite night spot in Stockholm, I recline in the leather seats, press play on the album - Addicted, and shine our reverse lights on Adée.

    There’s simply no stopping Adée.

In 2016 the Swedish singer from Kalmar toured the US, returned to Sweden to feature on Beat Funktions album - Green Man, and still found time to release one of the best albums of the year - Addicted (review coming soon).

Now the singer re-works one of her favourite songs, Miss Right by Anderson .Paak and adds her soulful vocals, with production by David Ekströmer. The result is yet another excellent example of the versatility and competency of this young and exciting soul-hop singer.
