‪Janice releases a heartfelt tribute‬ to her father

Written by

Human contact, love and loss are emotions we can all connect to.

Swedish R & B singer Janice eloquently and passionately expresses her feelings in her new single - Answers.

Almost six years ago her father committed suicide.

The shock, trauma and grief of this tragic event are expressed in her brave words and vocals.

Janice may be new to many yet the Swedish singer has been within heart of the soul renaissance since the start. A prodigy from Tensta Gospel Choir, her soulful vocals have supported a crop of new Swedish singers such as Seniabo Sey, Sabina Ddumba and Elias Sahlin, and in 2016 she took centre stage with her first solo release - Don't Need To.

This deeply sensitive song is released in two versions, and the video below is the piano ballade acapella, which frees her emotive melodies. Janices' cries for 'Andrew' are simply heart-breaking.
