Pomona Dream release jazzy, summer-ready cut

Written by
A summer of sumptuous sounds continue with each new Nordic soul inspired release, and Pomona Dream maintain the trend with a superb new track - Tropicana

The Swedish duo’s (Dan Ribbs and Sandra Bang) adaptation and re-working of 80’s electronics sound has already drawn huge plaudits, and their new single demonstrates they’ve no intention of stopping there.

Their new sunshine single, Tropicana is wonderfully highlighted by singing flute notes (by Sandra Bang’s father Håkan Broström a renowned Swedish saxophone player and composer), entwined with jazz chords and, as always, the irresistibly angelic vocals of Sandra.

To draw similarities with Astrud Gilberto and US band Moonchild would not be a mistake as Pomona Dream also deliver rich musical warmth, effortlessly easing away all cares and tensions.

The drinks are free, and Pomona Dream's vibe is certainly liberating! Enjoy!
