Paul Mac Innes - Crash & Burn

Written by
Swedish singer, Paul Mac Innes second single Crash & Burn is a soulful/pop fusion oozing impassioned emotion.

The bespectacled singer has gone back to the core of his music, and the result feels retro yet modern, almost with a ‘Bowiesque’ lyrical construction. Released with a rolling cassette video it also genuflects his love for nostalgia. He’s asking us to listen the way we used too.

Sublimely produced by Mattias Axelsson the single features; Markus Linnell Zovic (Keys), Mattias Bylund (Strings), Anders Augustsson (Guitar), Kristofer Göransson (Guitar), David Götvall (Bass), Jakob Sollerman (Tuba), Mattias Johansson (Violin) and David Bukovinszky (Cello).

A beautiful stripped version

Like watching the sun rising at dawn, this stripped version of Crasch & Burn (spelt correctly) makes you appreciate things differently as it reveals more of the delicately singing strings while emphasising Pauls unique soulful vocals. Beautiful.
