New Video: Emily Simbi - Walk With Me

Written by
Music doesn’t have to be heavily produced to evoke unbounded emotion and depth. Like a solo church choir singer, the tones don’t need to loud for the verbal echoes to reverb in an inner part of us - a part we call the soul.

Danish folk/soul singer, Emily Simbi, who has Haitian roots, touches on these feelings with her new delicate ballad - Walk with Me.

Released with a video, the single's lyrics pull on sentimental heartstrings as she calls for her lover to take a journey with her. Her vocals bring forth images of Danish bands Quadron and Furns who both radiate a heartbroken yet warm and tender expression which floats from any quality speaker. It's an intimate, ethereal and honest voice.

Walk with Me is taken from her second EP 'Look Up' released earlier in the year available in all major online stores (iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon, Rhapsody, TIDAL, and Deezer).

This isn’t a soul hit, but it certainly hits the soul.
