It’s not often you see a music producer stepping from the shadow of his studio into the limelight and pouring his heart out with the passion you’d normally expect from a seasoned frontman; flailing around the stage as he sings and raps his way through a performance that reeks of SOUL and FULL-ON commitment. But 'Soulful' does just that.

Hailing from Sweden, this young, multitalented individual takes command of the stage with a massive presence matched only by the massive production values of his music. Despite his relatively short career as a producer, the stuff he’s put out so far augurs a very promising future indeed. Full-on strings mesh with hard, gritty, knowingly-sampled, hip-hop drums…

Blending chopped up sampled breaks with live instruments can often sound contrived, but in Soulful's case it sounds as natural as can be, as evidenced in Malena Uamba’s blaring single Missed The Train (taken from her Got My Tempo EP ). Soulful is best known for his long-running collaboration with singer/songwriter and Scandinavian soul artist Samson For President.

They started working together some years ago in Soulful's bedroom (a.k.a.  the “In Between The Sheets Studios") and have thus far released 2 well received albums (Kibiriti and Papa's Old Piano) and wowed audiences at their numerous live shows. And, believe me, the live scene is where Soulful really comes to LIFE.... Full circle.
