Swedish band Beat Funktion announce album launch event

Written by

The internationally known band Beat Funktion have announced their new album with a launch event on September 1st at the home of Jazz, Fasching in Stockholm, Sweden.

Beat Funktion's sixth album ‘Green Man’, features no less than eight guest artists who include; Viktoria Tolstoy, Jasmine Kara, Damon Elliott, Matilda Gratte, Adée, Claes Janson and Alicia Olatuja. All tracks are written and composed by Daniel Lantz and this album will contain the most vocals to date.

Based in Uppsala and Stockholm, the band have expanded their jazz roots and added even more funk, soulful vocals and 70’s inspired disco to create a funky, retro-groove sound, layered with musical depth.

We’ve been lucky enough to have seen and heard behind-the-scenes on this albums production, and at Fasching, Sweden’s audience will get their first chance to hear the album a day before the official release.

Don’t miss what we believe is one of the most exciting releases of the year!
