Swedish singer Amanda Alexander celebrates LÖRDAG on debut single

Written by
24-year-old Swedish singer/songwriter/producer, Amanda Alexander, releases her debut track Lördag and it's laced with modern, electronic pop synths and sweet, soulful vocals.

Sung in Swedish, LÖRDAG (Saturday) is a celebration of the best day of the week.

A couple of years ago, Spotify listed Amanda as one of the women to keep an eye on amongst; Little Jinder, Marlene, Tove Lo and Seinabo Sey and described her as follows:

"Even when she sings straight and backwards, the soul of Amanda Alexander vibrates, it's like early Robyn, and Candi Staton had a daughter together."

Listening to the track, we'd be inclined to agree, and add a comparison to Finnish sensation Astrid S too.

'Lördag' is written and produced by Amanda Alexander, Manne Hjelm and DJ More-10. Available now on Spotify and all digital platforms.
