NATANAEL releases debut EP ‘IT’S YOU’

Written by

Raised on a steady and varied diet of musical influences provided by his mother, Swedish-born NATANAEL, an established singer, cites early influences ranging from; Stevie Wonder and Al Jarreau to Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Swedish folk music.

His versatile taste is clearly reflected in his debut four-track EP ‘IT’S YOU’ which contains strong 'pop' songs with influences of soul, reggae, West African mbalax and rock. We can hear the African influence clearly is clearly on 'I like the way' and ‘I Long to Be (With You),’ in which Senegalese drums create the groove.

This EP is really worth a listen, and its uplifting music is best described as ‘feel-good soul.’
