KAALM - EVERYTHING EP

There's no misspelling of the band's name.

And there's no misunderstanding the correlation between their name and their harmonious sound.

Following their exceptional debut single - Time, the Swedish band KAALM have just released their debut EP - Everything which follows their alluring introduction.

I wonder if you're like me?

Music on at nearly all times.

Always have headphones on a walk.

And always require a good selection of music when labouring through the preparation and cooking of an evening meal.

Well, I think I've found a delightful album that makes cutting courgettes, peeling potatoes and dicing onions a pleasure.

We're not going to pretend this is anything but Jazz.

However, it's hard to deny there's a whole lot of soul in US singer/poet Dean Bowman vocals. Together with an exquisite Finnish production, it steers this track directly into our waters.

Swedish producer/beatmaker, Jimmy Kuf makes a debut (for us) with a smooth, soulful lounge, single featuring Johanna Boes on vocals and Casper Lundström (Lars Langos) on guitar.

Released on Smatterband Records and sung in Swedish, ‘Spela roll’ (Play a role) somehow feels French in flavour with a romantic, blissful, and laid back tone.
