Numa Edema has a fascinating multicultural makeup. His roots are Norwegian and Nigerian; he draws from each for his music and lyrics. Additionally, he takes inspiration from his parents, both of whom are musicians and writers. In his writing, he expresses universal themes poetically, soulfully and sensitively.
With his 2016 album “The Hourglass“, he performed on Norwegian prime-time television and was A-listed on NRK P1. Additionally, he was invited by legends Stephen Stills and Judy Collins to perform alongside them on their joint US tour. His success continued with the release of his single Oslo. A soundtrack to the city, it established Numa as a leading figure in the Norwegian soul music scene.
