Marie Noreger

Creativity comes in many forms for Marie Noreger. Having picked up a variety of creative interests from an artistic family who pursued numerous eclectic interests such as painting, puppeteering and photography, she has spun that into a musical career which incorporates a little bit of everything, always centring around the power of art to express the things that words can’t. Marie Noreger uses her lyrics to invite people into her world. She is described as an effortless and nonchalant singer with a delicate and distinct voice.

Using layers of jazz, R&B and pop to name a few, Marie’s music is unique and entrancing. She shows a maturity that extends far beyond her young age, which has also been acknowledged outside the country. Several of Marie’s releases have been reviewed by recognized outlets such as Wonderland Magazine, Fame Magazine, Fizzy Mag, and a video premiere at CLASH Magazine. Locally in Norway she has received reviews from NRK P3 and Aftenposten, and several radio additions at NRK P3. In February 2022, Marie Noreger was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann) in the ‘R&B/Soul’ category for her debut ep “Gravity”.
