Sofia Aarvik

Norwegian born Sofia Aarvik grew up with a love for neo soul music.

Inspired by artists like Ms.Lauryn Hill and India.Are she started playing the guitar and writing songs at an early age. After years of developing her sound into something best described as Nordic Soul/pop she met the Brazilian producer Peter Mesquita. They started working together, and produced her debut album together with André Viervoll in Oslo.

Her debut album “All That You Have” was warmly received by the Scandinavian soul community and beyond. “Sofia’s wonderfully rich voice has compelling depth – beautifully warm and endearing.”

Feeling drawn in a direction toward more alternative R&B/pop she has now started to release singles from the upcoming EP “KINTSUGI“. The next single, “Stardust”, will be out February 17, and the EP as a whole in the spring of 2023
