Miri Tesfazion

(miri) tesfazion is a songwriting artist and producer from Stockholm, Sweden. While she draws inspiration from various genres and styles, her sound and overall expression flows between the sensuality of contemporary R&B and the lyricism of Hip Hop.

After releasing her debut single “pressure” (2022) and her follow-up single “don’t fight it” (2023), Miri Tesfazion delivers the lyric-centric and harmony-infused debut project “8: the mixtape”. The R&B
songstress co-produced all of the songs on the project together with Swedish producer linkupdb.

The mixtape sways and grooves through themes of love, sensuality, confidence, and perseverance. Meanwhile, the underlying heartbeat of the project is a discussion between the artist and her artistry to finally commit to and step into the journey of forever.
