Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Funk and a hint of reggae combine with Baba Soul and the Professors of Funk in their official debut/video single – If You Love Me.
The charming video introduces us the smartly dressed, dreadlocked singer who sounds like a combination of James Brown and modern soul legend Charles Bradley.
We’ve been following the soul singer for several years while he and his band cultivated their sound with shows across Europe, entertaining crowds with his vintage soul voice.

From roots in Portugal to his home in Norway, Baba Soul (Hugo Pereira) leads the eight-member band Professors of Funk and this debut gives an ideal example of their retro-soul music.
If You Love Me – is the first single from Baba Soul & The Professors of Funk upcoming album, “Chronotapes”, scheduled for release 16th of June 2017.
