Bavé releases alternative R&B single / Mildest high
Expands our soundscape beyond genre categorisation.
A little over a month ago, we wrote about Swedish artist Bavé alt-R&B single Who Got the Magic? Since then, it’s been on repeat in our headphones, and therefore we were over the moon when we saw that Bavé had released a new single, Mildest High.
Mildest High once again invites us into his unique soundscape. The song features a rich sound that immediately catches your attention, with a dramatic intro and an impressive composition. It seems to move forward in a cinematic sense and varies between richness and unexpected breaks, creating a beautiful dynamism without losing its power and momentum. If his last single was dreamlike and nostalgic, this one has a more epic feeling. However, the songs share an equally expressive and moving atmosphere.
We have already praised Bavé for his personal and unique sound, and having listened to Mildest High, we are even more convinced that this singer truly has coherent artistry and a personal brand. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Bavé; we feel this is only the beginning.
