Danish soul band D/troit return and ask / What’s A Man Gotta Do?

D/troit is back after an extensive European tour with a heartfelt single What’s A Man Gotta Do? and it drives with emotion like a vintage motorcycle tearing along on a country lane.

D/troit have established themselves as the finest soul band to have ever emerged from Denmark, receiving awards and international recognition. Their music seeps from the original roots of blues and soul, and their latest track follows in the footsteps in the godfather himself.

Lead singer Toke Nisted pleads with a raspy, bluesy voice on ‘What’s a man gotta do?‘ while supported by sweet horns, a fuzz guitar lead and a seductive rhythm section. The authenticity in their sound and a dynamite stage show (from clips on their Facebook page) is what sets D/troit apart.
