We are extremely honoured to premiére the video of Josef Park‘s Swedish sung single Snacka Snacket.
Co-produced by Oskar Skarp “Snacka Snacket” (Talk the talk) cross blends urban attitude with mellow vibes. Though hard to define, it is described best as soul hop, imaginatively crossing the borders of the genres. The bass is squeezy in an electro-synth groove dressed with Josef’s vocals laidback and soulful. The songs futuristic soundscape is visually matched in the video by Wilhelm Forsnäsgård. The style skilfully draws elements of the film noir classic, Blade Runner*. (*Reference to the top quote)
Conversely to the dreamy atmosphere, Josef describes the song as a slap to the face at everyone who talks shit.
“The song is built on the frustration that I feel towards disingenuous people who don’t express their honest feelings and speak untruthfully.”
Josef Park is a multifaceted singer, producer and soul artist from Swedish town Karlstad, and this single makes a memorable impression. The Scandinavian soul scene continues to take exciting steps into the future.
