During an English lesson at school, I remember my teacher telling us to avoid using the word ‘nice’, as there was a multitude of other adjectives to use instead. Well, she had better have her red pen handy, as I’m about to use it a lot!
Sunday (8th April 2012) saw the release of Swedish singer Klara Kazmi’s new single – NICE, and it’s as good as the title says!
Klara’s new song is a slight departure from those familiar with her previous songs like ‘Progress‘ and ‘Lalaland‘, but still radiates all her trademark warmth and sweet tones.
“It’s interesting because this is new territory for me, see I have never written a love song before, but this one came straight from the heart and made me feel so nice inside! I have done a lot of pondering on the subject of LOVE, what it is, how it feels, and I have come to many different conclusions. So how can I best describe this phenomenon? Well for me, it’s a feeling of unconditional appreciation for someone and/or something.” says Klara.
NICE is slow, steamy and her vocals are much more sensual than usual – this is serious baby-making music!
For me ‘NICE’ was a surprising direction for Klara and I really like it, as always, she produces music that makes you feel good. Nice.
Ok, Mrs Brown, you can start correcting now…
