Lennixx continue to thrill / I Might
Sweden's dynamic duo deliver R&B/pop punches!
Swedish R&B/pop duo Lennixx, consisting of Hanna Larsson and Andrea Kallström, made a big success with their debut EP ‘hapap‘ in 2018. They kept releasing music frequently up until 2020 but then decided to take a step back and focus on their songwriting.
The duo’s most recent single, ‘I Might‘, resonates as an anthem to a city’s vibrant nightlife – and on a sunny but still cold and snowy February day. It makes us long to put on our dancing shoes that have been stowed away since last summer and sway into a warm orange sunset.
The soundscape here is entirely electronic and principally modern, while the singers’ clear voices contrast with an acoustic sound. Always authentic, there’s an almost vintage touch at times. It is an impressive example of how the old and the new can merge into perfect harmony.
Since August 2022, Lennixx has released four new singles and repeatedly demonstrates high-quality artistry full of confident productions, seductive yet flirty soundscapes and sophisticated vocals. While the female duo will undoubtedly find a place in commercial playlists, their unique symbiosis and well-crafted songs are praiseworthy across the spectrum.
