To me, ‘4 In The Morning’ is my way of showing appreciation to that special someone. It takes me back to another era and makes me feel like a goddess who knows what she wants.
The beat is super nostalgic, and when I first heard the idea, I wanted to see what it could bring out of me. After a while, I was sure that I wanted to sing about love and temptation. I want the listeners to feel the intimacy and turn it into something good for themselves. Like always, I want them to slow it down with me.”
