Today is International Women’s Day, and nikkipax‘s debut single FPW (aka. Featuring Powerful Women), also released today is a soulful serenade for women, performed by women in support of women worldwide.

With minimalist acoustic dynamics and vocals, listeners will be impressed by the separation and precision of this production, featuring a sobering piano and chorus of unique female voices. nikkipax’s vocals are centre stage, and her tonal balance is warm and engaging. The lyrics are drenched in gospelesque love, infused with soul.

nikkipax is a new soulful artist from Denmark who debuted with a series of concerts in spring 2022. Creative and bold, she writes with relentless honesty about substance abuse, parenthood, women’s rights and mental health.

She’s currently in the studio recording and is working with co-producer Daniel Larsen, and pianist and composer Louise Schrøder, among others. “FPW” is the first single from her upcoming EP “the Dandelion Project – part 1” – the first of two EPs.
