No soul without coffee / Dark Roast
Sometimes there’s just something missing to those soulful feels.
Oh right, a sip of coffee!
Norwegian soul band seems to know this very well! It’s not light, not medium, but Dark Roast with that extra flavour!
Oslo-based and heavily influenced by the 70’s soul sound Dark Roast released their debut album on LP, First Brew, last year. Today they are a six-man band consisting of members Adrian Andresen (trumpet), Daniel Deltchev (saxophone), Markus Hafsund Gundersen (bass), Bård Jønland Berg (drums), Audun Haave Reknes (keys) and Johan Helland (vocal).
They’re definitely an up and rising band to keep an eye on!
Only recently they released a double-sided single ‘Make It a Double‘ with songs ‘You Are the Soul‘ and ‘Cheers, Little Boy‘.
