STUBBORN HEART SOUL CLUB at Dramatenbaren 16/2!
Welcome to the revival of the STUBBORN HEART SOUL CLUB at the Drama Bar! Saturday the 16th of February there will be a big premiere party with guest DJ SEBASTIAN FONZÉUS, from Malmö!
For two and a half years, STUBBORN HEART Stockholm is the most popular 60s club that plays the best from the dirty 1960s and non-smoking soul. At each club event, Resident DJs Eike Delic, Challe Elliot and Andreas Dienel invite the entire top layer of Europe’s Northern Soul DJs. The premiere evening of honour they welcome no less than Malmö’s coolest soul-DJ SEBASTIAN FONZÉUS, who for several years has been running the successful clubs “Function” and “Soulin”.
And the tunes?
During the 1960s, African American artists such as The Four Tops, James Brown and Fontella Bass conquered top lists around the world. Record companies such as Motown, Chess or Atlantic were real hit factories and several smaller record companies in the US followed in their footsteps to find the next star and hit song. Some made success locally, but most did not even though their music was magical.
STUBBORN HEART and their guest DJs give these forgotten gems a second chance at the Dramatenbarens dance floor. Between 21-01 on the 16th of February, they’ll play awesome swinging vinyl songs that deserved to be memorable hits. So, put on your dancing shoes and prepare for a magical evening with the best music.
