Ann Weberg is back with her first single ‘Handle it‘ from her forthcoming EP. Featuring Isabelle Eberdean, it is for sure one to remember and immediately add to your playlist.
Although the lyrics bring depth to the track, listening to the song takes you to a sunny summer day, and it seems to be the perfect song to pop on when on a road trip with the wind in your hair (or bald scalp in my case!).
One of the most striking features of the track is how well balanced it is. A laid back drum beat and smooth, soulful vocals are mixed with attractive, strikingly composed harmonies and a rap by Isabelle Eberdean that is as surprising as it is welcome. Weberg truly plays with variations boldly and brilliantly, making ‘Handle it‘ the perfect combination of sensual sophistication and magnetic modernity. It’s unique yet classy, laid back yet interesting, and varied yet cohesive.
The song starts relatively relaxed, with Weberg’s soft vocals in focus, a minimalistic drum beat, and a bass line that gives that extra spice to catch the listeners’ attention. However, the song builds up in an entrancing crescendo that leaves no one unaffected.
The two singers’ voices match each other perfectly, and their different parts overlap with a stunning flow, making the song’s impression just as appealing as the sunny summer day it reminds you of.
