With an uplifting gospel aura Aureola releases her new single/video – Do No Harm.
We recently highlighted the Danish songstress, after being smitten by her previous single – Taurean. Enamoured by her vocal presence and authentic lyricism, Aureola confirms our first impression with her latest release.
“Do No Harm” has one central empowering message: do no harm – but take no shit!
Produced by David Engelbrecht Simonsen (FRAADS), Aureola’s gospel background comes to the fore with a gentle Scandinavian choir updraft and soulfully empathetic lyrics.
“Do No Harm” is really a song I wrote to remind myself of the joy of saying no’, says Aureola. ‘To have something to hum to myself in times, where enough is enough. I’m generally a believer of a “kill-them-with-kindness”-approach, but sometimes that just doesn’t cut it, and then I think it is truly important not to take any shit.”
The video (which could be an excellent advert for Scandinavian cruises) continues to reveal an artist whose vocal charms and visual charisma is certified to leave you happier.
Do No Harm is the first single from Aureola’s upcoming EP, set to be released later this year.
