If you’ve never been to London, trust me when I say, it is always a buzzing hive of musical creativity. Well, before lockdown anyhow.
Scandinavian artists such as Cecilia Stalin, Marie Dahlstrom, Karin Fransson and Amalie Bryde have thrived in the historic city’s numerous venues and embraced the wealth of possibilities. And so it should be no surprise we found our latest discovery also residing in the pulsating city.
Greta Lovisa (full name Greta Lovisa Wenner), is a Swedish/German artist whose recent single Expendable (May 2020) delivers sleek R&B goodness.
Lyrically, Greta provides a comforting arm around those who have felt the pressure of negative people.
Describing the song Greta Lovisa says
‘Expendable’ is written to the people that do not want you to succeed, talk badly about you and try to make you feel bad. These kind of people are jealous and irrelevant, they should not affect your happiness. It is a response saying that they should not take it personally but they are just not relevant to you.”
Don’t miss
Also seriously worth your attention is her single 7am. Layered in jazz and mellow beats, slide into this like a late-night bubble bath with a glass of wine.
