With production by Dj More10 (Jon Remneus) setting a deliciously dark and mellow foundation, the visually audacious singer/songwriter/model serves a twisted R&B single, harmonic in love, and soulfully smooth in tone. The vibration of her inspirations such as Sade, Lauryn Hill, and Erykah Badu are mirrored in her vocal style, making it soothe with accessibility.
Besas’ visual style is a combination of seductive and daring.
We first discovered the duo’s work on a demo collaboration on Soundcloud – Freestyle, and their partnership now blooms into an official release.
Born in Sweden, Besas’ career as a model began when she was scouted on the streets of Copenhagen, Denmark. For the video (see top), directed by Nicky De Silva, she returned to the city to recruit the same team she had worked with at the start of her modelling career.
The video’s filmography style creates an unfiltered window into Besa vibing to ‘her journey’.
