IVYxM (pronounced…well, I guess like it’s spelt) slams into the music scene and immediately makes waves with her debut single – But You.
Having already garnered followers such as well-known artists Tinashe and Danish singer-songwriter Medina, on the first listen you’ll understand why this list will only grow.
Her debut single But You – gently showers you with chilled, laid-back R&B vibes, a tight bass and dreamy, charismatic vocals. The stylish production is comparable to sounds from US artists like Elle Varner and Ari Lennox.

IVYxM’s style has been described as uncompromising and fully tanked with a no-fuck-given attitude.
Born and raised in Zambia IVYxM lives in Denmark. She attributes her inspiration from a childhood home filled with jazz and country music. She describes: “I clearly remember how we would always listen to Tracy Chapman in the car when driving from the park, where we lived and into the city. In Zambia, everything is far apart.”
IVYxM is inspired by strong female artists such as SZA, Kehlani and NAO and a devoted fan of R’n’B in all its variations.
IVYxM. Unusual name. Already an unmissable artist.
