Loidimo
Loidimo (Mathias Loidimo Siroiney) was born in a small town in Sweden called Lund.
With a father from Tanzania, and his mother is Swedish. That gave him the strength to show people that it’s ok to be different. He always refers to his background as having the best of both worlds.
Loidimo was introduced to music at an early age via his mother, a music teacher and a dad who simply loved music. Surrounded by a vast array of vinyl records, it ignited his passion for music. He started taking dance, guitar and piano classes and then began singing in the local choir.
With a broad interest, he played in a variety of different bands. He played everything from Hip-Hop, Reggae and African music while R&B continued to burn brightly in his heart.
After losing a good friend to cancer, he realised now was the time to take his music to a different level – he wasn’t going to live forever.
He moved to LA for a couple of years where he experienced the beautiful and ugly side of Hollywood, before returning to Stockholm where he is currently working on his debut EP.
