Experimental R&B duo OWMI captured a live recording of their single – Beats and Lies, and also the essence of a blissful Sunday morning.
Based in Copenhagen OWMI consists of singer Bashir Billow and guitarist Jakob Miang, and the duo did indeed record this song on an early morning – in a vacation house in the north of Zealand, Denmark.
The dawn of a fresh new day certainly inspires as Beats and Lies is soulful and mellow, elegantly crafted with finely-tuned guitar and beats variations. Vocally Billow smoothly carries this track, and you feel that a day full of promise is ahead.
