Soul Tune All Stars continue to establish themselves as Stockholms home of soul music with their version of Desire.
Originally recorded by Aguabella in 1977, ‘Desire‘ is a Latin soul dance floor anthem and the Swedish band lovingly recreate the vibes with a soulful swing! Desire maintains Soul Tune All Stars signature funk lined groove, this time with guest vocalist Simon Lingmerth. Their version introduces a whole new audience to the sunshine effects of combining funk and soul.
The B-side ‘Messin around‘ takes us away from a traditional instrumental version and introduces a new invitation of funk-fueled instrumentation that blends the groovy soul drumming with guitar licks from James Brown era.
