With each new post, it’s clear this website is becoming jazzier and listening to Sufiano, it’s easy to understand why.
Sufiano’s released a Jazzstrumental (I think I may have just made that word up) track Ridin High, arranged and produced by Donyea from the US, created the ideal excuse to keep the bar open and the summer cocktails served.
Smooth in tempo, the improvised piano keys dance in rippling pleasure as the background voices harmonize and softly echo the title Ridin High on this 70’s pop-jazz single.
We are, of course, still soul-oriented, and Sufiano simultaneously released She Walks The Earth – a track bathed in soul. The singer-songwriter vocals embrace the microphone like Teddy Pendergrass – sexy and velvety, as he finds comfort reminiscing a past love.
Sufiano
Sufiano was born in Lourenço Marques, Maputo, Mozambique. Music has always been a significant part of Sufianos identity and he has been listening and playing music his entire life.
In their teen years, Sufiano moved to Denmark, where he became a well-known character in the Copenhagen City nightlife scene for many years – touring all the dance clubs in the city.
In 2006 Sufiano released his well-received debut CD “Urban Morphology“, and in fact, we covered his single Miami heat in 2015. Curiously, none of his music is currently on Spotify, so it’s pretty tricky to find.
Sufiano is currently collaborating with Us producer Donyea and Italian producers/ arrangers Nicolosis on new songs.
Looks like we’ll need to keep the bar open a while longer then and serving more jazz!
