The Scandinavian soul family continues to expand as it welcomes Canada based R&B songstress Suzifromtheblock.
Behind Suzifromtheblock is Suzan Bitici. Swedish born and Toronto based her latest single – Shoe Don’t Fit, is a lyrical confession from an unapologetic wild child presented through pure, R&B beats.
Reviving the essence of ’90s R&B, Suzifromtheblock infuses the vibes with her bold, confident, feminine attitude – her party attire alone is a killer!
Canada, and in particular Toronto, has always projected a harmonious multi-cultural city, and the video’s vibrant nightlife scenes reinforce this utopian community image.
And with tracks like this, Suzifromtheblock should have a growing group of Scandinavian soul friends to party with in 2021.

The block Suzi hails from is Skarholmen, a small suburb in Stockholm. There, Suzi and her two best friends formed a music group, their biggest inspiration R&B icons Destiny’s Child. When the studio in the resource centre closed down, they gradually stopped recording and performing. Music remained a part of her soul and eventually, Suzi returned into the booth and has since dropped three singles.
2020 sees Suzifromtheblock reach back home to Sweden via her R&B sound. Stay tuned for more of her releases.
