This dark and sullen broken beat single perfectly pulsates beneath a story of this divided couple, softened by Venus and Damien Martial (making his introduction), engaging soulful vocals.
Directors Nemo Hinders Stocklassa, Paul Adamah and set designer Josefin Hinders suitably visualised the video in the shadow of night, with Cupids’ arrow now symbolised as a bitter bolt.
Twisting R&B into a dynamic expression, it reinforces Venus as an impressive, new contemporary artist in Swedens’ music scene.
