BAUN releases rebellious Jazzy-Soul single / The Mask
Breaking free from social media reveals an artist to note beneath.
Unrelated to the film or the current Covid personal protection requirements, ‘The Mask‘ by Baun is a bonafide injection of positivity through a jazzy and soulful arrangement.
We’ve been secret admirers of this Danish artist, who joins the diverse and eclectic roster at Wontune, for a while. Here he delivers and exceeds our expectations.
Recorded live, The Mask plays with a warming, rhythmic arrangement highlighted by Bauns’ soulful vocal, which moves effortlessly around sparkling piano chords. Musically Baun draws a parallel with the catchy musicality of Swedish artist Andy Pfeiler.
