I’m not sure which version of Tinder Bobby Oroza uses but having already found a Lonely Girl, he has now discovered a Strange Girl on his latest release.
‘The King of Finnish cool‘ returns with a soul song about a mysterious lady, and production as mellow and soft as hazy light with curls of smoke. With Cold Diamond & Mink underlining his signature sound the single also features the sweet flute of Leon Michels. Signed to the US label Big Crown Records, the inspiration for Strange Girl came from one of their previous releases by El Michels Affair & The Shacks – Strange Boy.
Delivering captivating videos has also become one of Bobby’s trademarks, and Strange Girl is no exception. In the video, we see Bobby and ‘the strange girl’ embark in a curious case of experimentation. (See above)
The Bobby Oroza sound makes vinyl an essential format, and we’re pleased to say the single has a 7″ pressing. Purchase here ($6.50).
The B-side flips over to reveal ‘Down On My Knees‘. This slow-burning ballad, taken from his debut album This Love, makes this a double-A release of soul seduction.
