Norwegian soul band Dark Roast deliver once again with their new retro-soul single. A wonderfully mysterious title – Dark Shades Hiding Sharp Eyes, reveals a song of scintillating rhythm and harmonious soul.
Following their recently released single Stuff I Need to Say, Dark Shades Hiding Sharp Eyes turns the soul dial-up to the max and seal it with a huge funky kiss. The best of ’70’s soul radiates from a feel-good groove and catchy sunshine singing horns. The harmonies are smoother than cream, with lyrics wrapped as a bouquet.
Dark Roast continues to create music built on solid soul foundations, with love and fun on the way. The dynamics they radiate are outstanding, and the production exquisite.
