London-based Swedish singer-songwriter Loria Boban delivers a warm, thoughtful, sumptuous new single Lost & Found.
Since her debut EP Moving House, released in 2018, Loria Boban continually gained new fans, including Blue Lab Beats, Rahsaan Patterson and Morris Day (Prince) – and us!
We first heard Loria Boban’s last single Purify Your Sight, and were immediately smitten with her vocal grace and charismatic visual style. Her follow-up single is melancholic, sultry and pure neo-soul.
In Loria’s words –
[Lost & Found] reflects on the feeling of longing for love and how easy it is to feel lost in today’s dating world where people feel used and easily disposable. The song captures the metaphorical box of ‘lost & found’, where hurt but yet faithful people wait for the right person to come along’.
Composed and produced by Loria, the balance here is simply exquisite from the shimmering opening to the free jazzy outro. As the darker nights draw in, this buttery smooth groove and sensual tone has a honey-golden glow.
A weekly avalanche of new music means discovering artists like Loria can be highly challenging. However, you are here now, and from play, Lost & Found will confirm ‘this is the sound you’re looking for…‘ as Obi-Wan Kenobi would say.
Lost & Found is taken from her upcoming EP, The Garden, out October 14. Make sure to look out for this too!

LISTENERS NOTES
To my joy, Lost & Found is released in two versions – a radio edit and an extended version. Yes, Loria did it the right way! The good-old fashion way! I strongly recommend the 4+ mins version featured in our playlist, played after 20:00 accompanied with a smooth red wine – try Zupreme Zinfandel, 2020, close your eyes and enjoy!
