The grassroots of soul and urban music continues to flourish as Finnish singer (band?) Louie Blue releases his debut video/single – Confused.
Is Louie Blue a band or solo artist?
Information on this young singer (or band) is currently sparse; however, you can hear the roots of his listening past in his impressive single. From the solid underlining beat, the George Benson style guitar chords, and the video with retro styling, Louie Blue has amalgamated all these influences into one sumptuously layered debut. Even the name is cool. (If Louie Blue is a band then I will need to heavily edit this article, but it’s still a great name!)
Just like Norwegian band Fieh, who also create original fusions, Louie Blue has the potential to not only turn local Finnish heads but international ones too.
Exciting times ahead and I’ve seriously high hopes for this singer… or band!
