Norwegian Songstress Marie Noreger makes her debut with a soulful single – Adore. Fluttering piano keys, a driving bassline and smokey edged vocals welcome Marie Noreger into the world of soul from Scandinavia.
Behind the production is Kim Ofstad – drummer from the fabulous band D’Sound. Together they introduce a rhythmic, dark-tinged R&B single, with a sensual proclamation of love.
From a family of creatives
Marie Noreger is the daughter of a family of creatives. Her father is a house-DJ, her grandmother – a painter and her aunt – a puppet maker. It was no surprise to her relatives that Marie would also discover her creative outlet. Marie started songwriting from a young age, studied music at school and became the first family member to pursue music as a career.
Initial periods of anxiety lead her delaying her start, however, while working as a photographer (naturally) she met Kim Ofstad. Diligently working together for several years, Marie now steps in front to the camera and up to the mic.
