Her chilled style of delivery expressed with effortless ease on tracks such as Slowzy, Circulate and Know My Place drew instant international admirers. Her debut EP ‘Slowin It‘ was nominated for Soul / R&B of the year at the Swedish Grammy Awards and best Hip Hop / R&B at the renowned Swedish ‘P3 Guld’ gala. Let’s face it, only the coldest of hearts wouldn’t succumb to her serene inducing tones.
For her latest single, Nápoles drew inspiration from people enjoying themselves, and ‘Give it Up‘, produced by Wihib Sulaiman, uplifts the tempo to match the mood. Rest assured though, this isn’t in the frantic BPMs of drum and bass!
Nápoles’s vocals remain soft and dreamy (just listen to how she says her name!) as the Stockholm based songstress flows with the sensual closeness of late-night intimacy.
“To me, ‘Give It Up’ is a song about enjoying myself and my surroundings. Even though the energy’s the same, it’s a new feeling that I’m bringing. When I listen to it, I feel like I’m in a flow that I never want to stop.” – Nápoles.
