Nosizwe’s return brings new soulful sound / Dunno

Norwegian Nosizwe returns from a short hiatus with a new single and a new sound.
The soulstress is one of the country’s most underrated artists and her excellent debut album In Fragments remains an underground essential.
Having spent a short while focusing on her family, Nosizwe is back with Dunno. Behind the mixing desk is Grammy-nominated producer Ivan Blomqvist (Rohey) and her soulful sound is transformed with a broader soundscape and catchy, danceable groove.
“This was the first time Nosizwe and I worked together, but the chemistry was there right away. We have many of the same references but are also so different that we continued to surprise each other. I was trying to get Nosizwe´s magnitude in the front. With «Dunno» we’ve made a song you can dance too, but it also tells you something more..” Ivan Blomqvist
To say 2020 has been difficult is an understatement and in the new single, Nosizwe looks at the uncertainty of the road ahead of us.
’20/20 vision all year, only the vision going inwards… Where are we going? Where are we heading? Dunno, but we´ll get there!’
We all hope the year ends better than it began. And indeed, the positivity we can rely on has come from artists in the Scandinavian soul world. Nosizwe’s return certainly keeps a smile on our faces.
