Sold out gigs, high praise from Jamie Callum, and a five-star review in the Norwegian newspaper Dagsavisen confirms what we already knew – Rohey is different, exciting and a band you should know.
The Norwegian quartets exquisite, jazzy-soul tracks have impressed since their debut, and the first compilation of their music can now be found in a strikingly designed, 12-track album – A Million Things.
Available on vinyl and digitally the album contains previously released singles; ‘I Found Me‘ and ‘Is this All There is?‘ and adds tracks like the incredibly beautiful ‘Tell Me‘ and the thought-provoking ‘Cellphones and Pavements‘.
However, the band’s debut track – Postcard and a Smile isn’t included and can no longer be found in their catalogue. Personally, this is a real shame but not an unusual decision. So, if you still have a copy consider yourself very lucky!
With lead vocalist, Rohey Taalah pouring all her emotions into lyrically and musically captivating compositions – A Million Things takes elements of the past and transports them to a brilliant future.
